The video project "Rekorder" (Subtitle: again guided through the heart) is connecting documentary scenes of the entire process and fictional sequences with each other. Rekorder picks out as a central theme the contemporay production field which is situated between artistic vison/utopia and practical dilemma. The content of the story is a fictional trip to the african continent and was developed during shooting. Initially Rekorder is exploring the technical conditions of contemporary video production and leads to a poetic video collage with epic motives. Facts and fiction build a volume of association, mystic and fateful reflexion.

Das Videoprojekt „Rekorder“ (Untertitel: nochmal durch Herz führen) verknüpft Szenen des Entstehungsprozesses und den fiktive Sequenzen miteinander. Rekorder thematisiert dabei ein temporäres Produktionsumfeld welches sich zwischen künstlerischer Vision/Utopie und praktischem Dilemma (und des zu betretenden Feldes der Kunst) bewegt. Der Inhalt der Geschichte ist eine fiktive Reise zum afrikanischen Kontinent und wurde während des Drehs entwickelt.Anfangs beleuchtet Rekorder die technischen Bedingungen der zeitgenössischen Videoproduktion und mündet zunehmend in einer poetische Bildercollage mit epischen Motiven. Faktisches und Fiktives ergänzen sich zu einem Konvolut aus Assoziation, Mystik und schicksalhafter Reflexion.
